What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy instilling my passion for both maths and science into the students as I found I had when I was tutored.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am able to sympathize with the students in regard to finding initial topics difficult and needing to break bad habits of both study and work to understand what is happening. I was able to get students I taught to break their own bad habits and do better in terms of test results.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is help them gain confidence in their abilities to learn the content and answer it without much difficulty or with the need to simply memorize one example from a textbook and hope for the best.

Brandon does well at mental multiplication and can easily perform the addition of fractions with a common denominator.
Brandon does well at mental multiplication and can easily perform the addition of fractions with a common denominator.
Brandon struggles with simplifying fractions either then solving a question or whether he has a solution and a simplified form is required. This comes down to reviewing the greatest common divisor rules and using that to simplify fractions.

Brandon is getting better at finding the greatest common divisor and at his mental maths.
Brandon struggles with the application of the greatest common divisor and using that in the examples of improper fractions and simplifying fractions once he has an answer or is working one out. However, he does fall back on the cross multiplication of the divisor for adding and subtracting fractions which is good, meaning he understands the fundamentals well.
Brandon is getting better at his mental mathematics and knows the standard method of adding and subtracting fractions well.
