The most important things a tutor can do is help students understand that being wrong or not being as fast or as good at studying is not a bad thing. A tutor must go at the students pace, not rush them and be patient as possible. Teo is currently studying advanced science with a major in chemistry, bringing fresh and in-depth subject knowledge to every lesson. At school, he completed advanced mathematics and achieved results in the top band range, as well as an overall ATAR above 90%. He has been recognised as a high achiever in his university program, and placed in a mathematics competition, so he knows what it takes to perform under exam pressure. This tutor uses his own experience of high-level study to explain concepts clearly and build confident problem-solvers.

Teo has ongoing experience as an after-school tutor, where he supports students with homework, exam strategies, and building effective study habits. He has run small group sessions for students struggling with similar topics, helping them work through questions step by step and compare different methods. He also regularly helps a younger cousin with schoolwork, giving him a natural understanding of how to break down tricky ideas for primary and early high school learners in both maths and English.
