What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students reach the point where things start to click. I like breaking down complex ideas and seeing students gain confidence as they begin solving problems independently.
I also enjoy the collaborative aspect—students often bring fresh perspectives, which keeps the process engaging and helps me refine how I communicate and approach design.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor are clear communication, patience, and adaptability. I’m good at breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps and explaining them in different ways depending on how a student learns.
I also focus on building confidence, encouraging students to think through problems themselves rather than just giving answers. My practical experience in design and CAD helps me connect theory to real-world applications, which students often find useful.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important things a tutor can do are create a supportive learning environment, explain concepts clearly, and build a student’s confidence. It’s important to guide students through problems rather than just giving answers, so they develop their own understanding and problem-solving skills.
A good tutor should also be approachable and adaptable, recognising when a student is struggling and adjusting their approach to suit their needs.
