What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the moment when a student finally understands something they were struggling with. I’ve seen how frustrating subjects like math can be, so being able to explain it in a simpler way and see that “click†happen is really rewarding. I also like building a comfortable environment where students feel okay to ask questions without feeling judged.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my biggest strengths are patience and being able to explain things in a simple, clear way. I don’t rush students—I make sure they actually understand before moving on. I’m also good at adjusting how I explain things depending on the student, because I know not everyone learns the same way. I’m reliable and consistent as well, which helps students feel more supported.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing is building the student’s confidence. A lot of students struggle because they think they’re “bad†at a subject, not because they can’t actually learn it. A good tutor should make learning feel less stressful, focus on understanding instead of memorising, and help students become more independent over time so they don’t always rely on help.
