What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most is seeing a child's confidence grow when something finally clicks for them. There's something really rewarding about being part of those small breakthrough moments, when a concept that seemed confusing suddenly makes sense. With younger students especially, learning is so tied to how they feel, so being a positive and encouraging presence in that process is something I find genuinely fulfilling
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My key strengths are patience and adaptability. I understand that every child learns differently and at their own pace, so I'm focused on meeting each student where they are rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I'm also good at breaking things down into simple, manageable steps, which is especially important for primary school-aged children who are building foundational skills
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things are building trust and making the student feel safe to make mistakes. A lot of children who need tutoring have already developed some anxiety around learning, so creating a calm, non-judgmental environment is essential. Beyond that, I believe in helping students develop independence, not just giving them answers, but teaching them how to think through problems so they don't always need to rely on outside help
