What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐Ÿ˜

What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing a student become confident in something they were struggling with before. Especially in maths, many students feel nervous at first and think they are โ€œbadรขโ‚ฌ at the subject, but once they start understanding the logic behind it, their whole attitude changes. I really enjoy being part of that process. I also enjoy teaching concepts through multiple approaches. In that process, I myself get to think about a topic in different ways and revisit the concept again, which helps me learn continuously as well.

My Strengths as Tutor ๐Ÿ’ช

I think one of my biggest strengths as a tutor is that I am very approachable. I genuinely enjoy interacting with students, listening to them, and understanding their learning journey. Being friendly helps students feel comfortable, which makes it easier for them to ask doubts and participate without hesitation. I am also a very patient person. I understand that every student learns at a different pace, so if a student does not understand something on the first attempt, I am happy to explain the concept again using different approaches until I am confident they have fully grasped it.

Most important things I can do for a student ๐Ÿ…

I think one of the most important things a tutor can do is help students become independent learners rather than making them dependent on the tutor. I do not believe in spoon-feeding answers all the time. Instead, I believe a tutor should guide students, encourage them to think independently, and help them build confidence in their own problem-solving abilities. Another important thing is creating a comfortable environment where students feel safe asking questions and making mistakes. When students feel supported and understood, they become much more open to learning.
