What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really enjoy that moment when something finally clicks for a student. Math and physics can feel intimidating at first, but breaking it down step by step and watching someone go from confused to confident is genuinely satisfying. I also like that tutoring keeps me sharp — explaining concepts clearly actually deepens my own understanding too
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm patient and good at explaining things in multiple ways until it makes sense. I've tutored friends through uni courses and worked at a tutor centre teaching students from classes 8 to 10, so I'm comfortable adjusting my approach based on the student's level. I'm also pretty strong across maths, physics, and computer science, so I can connect concepts across subjects when it helps.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Build their confidence first — a lot of students struggle because they've told themselves they're "bad at maths." Beyond that, I think it's important to make sure they actually understand the concept rather than just memorising steps, and to keep them engaged so sessions don't feel like a chore. Consistent encouragement goes a long way.
