Being able to see what a problem looks like from the perspective of the student. I have found that trying to explain the solution to a problem like you see it can often lead to a lot of misunderstanding and frustration. So I feel that I have developed the skill of being able to see where the difficulty of a problem lies in the eyes of the student making better able to teach more generally.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important has to be giving students the tools to solve problems as opposed to solutions itself. In order to effectively teach someone (maths especially) giving them the ability to solve a problem for themselves is extraordinarily valuable to them because it means they get more out of the learning experience than if they had just memorised certain ideas and never truly understood.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
