What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Nothing is more rewarding than watching a student go from frustrated and stuck to suddenly understanding, especially in maths, where so many students lose confidence in their own ability. Seeing that shift when a concept finally clicks is what drives me.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strongest asset as a tutor is my ability to break problems down step by step. As a mathematics student, this is something I practise daily. Working through complex problems has enabled me to pinpoint exactly where understanding breaks down and address it directly.
Patient and adaptable, I never repeat the same explanation if a student is struggling. Instead, I'll come at it from a completely different direction until it clicks. My goal is always genuine understanding, not just getting to the right answer.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A huge part of tutoring is making students believe in their own ability, creating an environment where mistakes aren't something to be embarrassed about, but an essential part of the learning process and often the best way to reach a real understanding.
