About Daniel
High-achieving maths and science student who understands school pressure
Daniel finished school with an ATAR in the high 90s, excelling in Specialist Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Literature. He has earned distinctions in national maths and science competitions and regularly appeared on the academic honour roll. Having recently navigated the same curriculum, he understands current assessment styles, exam techniques and what teachers are really looking for. This tutor helps students turn confusing concepts into clear, step-by-step methods, building both accuracy and confidence in class tests and assignments.
Hands-on classroom and learning support experience
Daniel has directly supported teachers in primary classrooms, working with students from a wide range of backgrounds, including many newly arrived and refugee students. He is used to breaking down instructions, explaining ideas in different ways and keeping students engaged when attention is low. On a service trip, he also helped support English learning in remote schools, adapting activities with very limited resources. This tutor brings that practical classroom experience into tutoring, meeting students exactly where they are.
