What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping students and being a helping hand for part of their schooling journey. I love witnessing the progress made by students and the joy they feel when making improvements to their learning.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Competent academically having received a 90 overall for QCE math methods, 97 for English and 93 for biology. I am good at breaking complex mathematical procedures into smaller more manageable steps for students to grasp. I ensure students are aware that it’s a safe space where making mistakes is not only expected but encouraged to promote learning. I am good at communicating student progress with parents and ensuring classes run smoothly, especially when dealing with younger students who struggle to remain focused for long periods of time, given my previous experience as a Gymnastics Coach.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Ensure they feel comfortable and safe enough to make mistakes, as a student who fears making mistakes may greatly inhibit their capacity to achieve their full potential and maximise their learning yield.
