What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy tutoring because I find it rewarding to help students build confidence and improve in areas they may initially struggle with. I especially enjoy seeing the moment when a concept finally clicks for a student after explaining it in a way that suits their learning style. I also enjoy creating supportive and engaging learning environments where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. A tutor should also adapt their teaching approach to suit each studentβs learning style and needs, rather than using the same method for everyone. My name is Mia, and Iβm currently a pre-service secondary teacher at Edith Cowan University (ECU)
I have over 2 years of experience tutoring English to high school students and am currently accepting new students for tutoring. I have over two years of experience tutoring English to high school students and enjoy helping students build both their academic skills and confidence. Having recently completed my Bachelor of Business with Distinction at RMIT University, I also bring strong academic and analytical skills to my tutoring.
