What do I enjoy most about tutoring? š
I enjoy helping students understand concepts that initially feel difficult or confusing. The most rewarding part of tutoring is seeing a student gain confidence after a topic is explained in a clear and simple way. I especially enjoy mathematics because many students struggle with it at first, but with step-by-step guidance, they can improve quickly.
My Strengths as Tutor šŖ
My main strengths are patience, clear communication, and the ability to break down problems step by step. As an engineering student, I am used to solving mathematical problems logically, and I can explain methods in a structured way (unimelb caculus 2 - 94). I also understand that every student learns differently, so I try to adjust my explanations depending on the student's level.
Most important things I can do for a student š
I think the most important things a tutor can do are to build the student's confidence, explain concepts clearly, and encourage independent thinking. A tutor should not just give answers, but help the student understand the process behind the answer. This allows the student to improve their problem-solving skills and become more confident in future assessments.
