About Jishan
My Background
I'm Jishan, a Nossal High School graduate now studying a double degree in Electrical Engineering and Finance at Monash University. I completed Specialist Maths and Methods in VCE and use that same maths every day in my engineering studies, so the concepts I teach are ones I understand deeply, not just from a textbook.
How I Teach
I tailor every lesson to the student, starting with where they're stuck and building understanding from the fundamentals up. I get students to explain their reasoning back to me so gaps get caught early and concepts truly click, rather than being memorized and forgotten. I can supply practice questions, worked examples, and exam-style revision, and I'm happy to work from a student's own school materials.
