What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐Ÿ˜

I really enjoy helping students discover their love of learning. I believe majority of students have a genuine curiosity and willingness to learn, however have yet to find a learning process that truly works for them. I love the challenge of finding new ways to break down concepts to help students understand what they are learning and the realisation when the content finally makes sense for them. I also love how rewarding tutoring is, and would he honoured to continue to work in an environment where I can contribute someone elseโ€™s growth and help them achieve success.

My Strengths as Tutor ๐Ÿ’ช

One of my strengths as a tutor is adapting to different learning styles, and I enjoy the challenge of breaking down content in different ways to ensure the student deeply understands what they are learning and making sure they feel genuinely seen and supported. I know how overwhelming classrooms can be, so I focus on breaking concepts into clear, engaging steps. My love of learning drives me to spark that same curiosity in my students. Supporting my younger brother, who has Level 3 ASD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia, shaped my ability to create learning spaces where everyone feels understood.

Most important things I can do for a student ๐Ÿ…

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to ensure that the student feels confident in their learning and believes in themselves. If a student is more confident in their abilities, they will feel more motivated to continue to learn and understand concepts deeply. I believe as a tutor it's important to create an environment where students feel that they can ask for help and further clarification whenever they need. I believe that students should not just memorise content, but instead develop problem solving skills that will support them in both academics and everyday life.
