What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the idea of being able to foster and grow the knowledge of students and helping them develop in their education. I love that my help and prior knowledge can help the student to excel in their studies and also build a future that they are passionate about. I think that tutoring not only further builds on the knowledge kids learn in school but also provides them with the confidence to apply what they learn.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think a key strength of mine would be knowing my content well and having a strong foundational knowledge to be able to explain concepts to others. I am also a very approachable person and easy to talk to, which I believe are both important in making sure the student feels comfortable to learn and be open about their feelings throughout the lessons.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think that the most important things a tutor can do for a student are giving them confidence in their learning and pushing them to excel in their studies. Although I have had no prior experience tutoring commercially , I have attended tutoring myself to further excel in my studies. From this experience, I learnt that a good tutor not only has a strong knowledge of content, but also takes the time to connect with the student by understanding their struggles and what helps them learn. Every student is different and so catering your teaching style is extremely important.
