What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing the moment when something finally clicks for a student. It's quite a wholesome and joyful moment. it's really rewarding to breakdown a topic in a way that makes it feel manageable and then watch a student gain confidence on their own ability. Additionally, I also highly enjoy building supportive and trustful relationships with students and helping them feel comfortable enough to ask as many questions they want without fear of judgment. For me, tutoring isn't just about improving marks but also about students feeling capable and motivated in their learning.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'd say one of my key strengths is patience. Patience is very important when tutoring as everyone learns at a different pace, I'm comfortable explain concepts in different ways and many times until they make sense. I'm also adaptable to different learning style as it is proven that not every student will benefit from the same teaching style, I am open to changing my teaching techniques when needed. Additionally, I am organised and reliable, which helps me plan structured and productive sessions.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for students is confidence and independence, from my own personal experience being in tutoring, my tutor was always patient, gave me time to think and encouraged me to think differently and outside of the box, I now realise that my tutor's technique was the right approach and helped me improve in many ways. While improving academic results is important, helping students develop problem solving skills and the ability to think critically on their own has longer lasting impacts and is far more valuable to their academic journey.

About Aisha

Helping students build confidence

Hi! im Aisha, a Monash university student studying Banking and Finance with a pssion for helping students feel more confident in maths, english, business studies and economics. I understand that every student learns differently so i aim to create a supportive and encoraging envirionment where students feel comfertable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their understanding at their own pace.

A personalised learning approach

Rather than simply giving answers, I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind each step. I tailor lessons to each student's needs by strengthening foundational knowledge, supporting current schoolwork, and developing effective study habits. My goal is to help students become more independent and confident learners.

Working towards success together

Having completed high school recently, I understand the challenges students face and the importance of balancing schoolwork with confidence and motivation. Whether a student wants to improve their grades, prepare for upcoming assessments, or simply feel less overwhelmed in class, I'm committed to helping them achieve steady and lasting progress.
