What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy guiding students towards academic success by helping them understand concepts at a deeper level. Seeing students gain confidence and develop their skills is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths as a tutor include my calm approach, strong understanding of mathematics, clear communication, and ability to explain concepts in a simple way. I encourage students to answer questions themselves through guided questioning, which allows me to identify their strengths and areas for improvement while helping them develop independent problem-solving skills.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe the most important things I can do for a student are provide clear explanations, ask guiding questions, and help them understand concepts rather than simply memorise formulas. Encouraging students to think independently allows them to develop problem-solving skills and confidence. My role is to provide support where needed while helping students become more independent learners.

About Avzu
Engineering Student with Strong Maths and Physics Background
Hi, my name is Avzu and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at Flinders University. I completed Year 12 with Specialist Mathematics and Physics, achieving an ATAR of 86.05. I have a strong passion for problem solving and helping students build confidence in their academic abilities.
A Supportive and Understanding Tutor
My tutoring approach focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorising steps. I encourage students to ask questions and use guided problem-solving techniques so they can develop independence and confidence. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel supported.
Experience Helping Others Learn
Through my Certificate III in Sports Coaching and experiences working with others, I have developed patience, communication skills, and the ability to explain ideas clearly. I enjoy helping people improve and believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and support.
