What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy deepening my understanding of a subject by working out how to effectively teach it to someone else. I find helping others understand complex topics highly rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm a patient listener, I think the role of a tutor is to give the client space and time to engage in the learning process with as little interference or outside explanation. I'm also good at making difficult topics fun, engaging and relevant to the student's own goals.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think it's important to equip a student with the skills to learn and study independently, rather than having them memorise answers to pass a test. I think it's also important to unlock the motivation of the student, why do they want to study this subject? What will passing mean for their future? I strive to be a role model, exemplifying values of discipline and patience, and showing that study can be fun and rewarding.
