What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the connections I foster with my students the most when I tutor. As I get more familiar with a student, it is easier to connect with them and help them understand challenging topics. I find each individual and their unique learning style fascinating. As I tutor more people, my ability to impart knowledge diversifies. Furthermore, I find it extremely satisfying when I get to know more about a student's capabilities and can utilize that understanding to assist them in either closing knowledge gaps or exploring topics that are above their grade level.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor are friendliness, strong knowledge, and my ability to engage with my students. I'm a versatile individual who has moved schools multiple times throughout my education, and the shifts have greatly fostered my ability to connect with my students. Due to moving around a lot, I am familiar with various curricula and have consistently achieved highly distinctive scores throughout my education. In addition, through my love for storytelling and hours of volunteering at preschools, I have honed my ability to engage with other people, especially kids.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Some of the most important things tutors can do for students is help them discover the most effective methods to retain knowledge and assist them in identifying their strengths and weaknesses. Even though tutoring can tremendously assist a student, it is only truly effective when students can commit knowledge to their long-term memory and apply it consistently across various scenarios. Especially as most students who struggle with school tend to struggle due to their inability to comprehend their teachers, finding their unique learning method is crucial.
