What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Building a student’s confidence. I think most students become very complacent when dealing with subjects they find difficult, they aren’t confident even during 1 on 1 sessions, having a student become comfortable and confident, open to correction is my favourite part. I enjoy nurturing the natural curiosity they have, encouraging them to participate and research as well.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I am extremely patient, I also enjoy the content I teach so I have no problem going over it multiple times up until each student understands I am highly organised and adaptable, I can work across multiple syllabi, changing my tutoring methods to match the curriculum and my students needs Finally, I manage time well, assigning work and providing feedback at a time that allows for a student to revise before our next session.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I believe a tutor should encourage a student such that the student can participate actively without any anxiety or fear of being wrong. Motivating a student and encouraging a love for learning through things like games, incentives and relatability to make classes more fun.
