What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping students build confidence in mathematics and seeing them progress from finding a topic difficult to solving problems independently. As an Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Curtin University, I enjoy applying the mathematics I learn and sharing that knowledge in a way that makes sense to others. It is rewarding to see students improve both their understanding and their results.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths are patience, clear communication, and strong problem-solving skills. I am currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Curtin University and have maintained a Current Weighted Average (CWA) of 77, with 94% in Calculus 2 (MATH2009) and 81% in Engineering Mathematics (MATH1019). I also received the Dean's Letter of Commendation last semester for my academic results. These results reflect my strong mathematical foundation, and I enjoy explaining concepts in a clear and approachable way. I also adapt my teaching style to suit each student's learning pace.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important role of a tutor is to help students develop confidence as well as understanding. A good tutor should explain concepts clearly, encourage students to think independently, and adapt lessons to suit each student's learning style. By creating a supportive learning environment and focusing on both problem-solving skills and exam techniques, a tutor can help students achieve lasting academic success.
