What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
There is nothing better than watching a student go from frustrated to suddenly saying, "Oh, I get it now!" Helping someone build confidence in a subject they thought they couldn't handle is incredibly rewarding. It is about helping students realise they're capable of doing hard things.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My biggest strength is adaptability. Every student learns differently. Some are visual, some need to talk things through, and others learn best by doing. I am patient and good at reading when a student is stuck or overwhelmed, which allows me to pivot my approach on the fly. I also focus on breaking complex ideas down into simple, relatable concepts rather than just repeating whatβs in a textbook.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do is build a student's confidence while teaching them how to learn independently. Rather than just handing over answers, a great tutor creates a supportive environment where making mistakes is okay, helping students develop the problem-solving skills and study habits they need to succeed on their own.
