What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students gain confidence and realise that they are capable of achieving more than they initially thought. Through my experience with ProjectBloom, where I supported children and adolescents through structured sessions and activities, I developed patience, empathy and the ability to adapt my communication to different needs and learning styles. I enjoy creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes and making progress at their own pace.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My key strengths as a tutor are personalising lessons and making complex concepts easy to understand. I like creating session plans around a student’s interests and learning style to keep them engaged and motivated. I also break concepts down into smaller, logical steps and explain the reasoning behind each step rather than simply giving an answer. My experience with ProjectBloom has further developed my patience, empathy and ability to adapt my approach to different students’ needs.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is build a student’s confidence while helping them develop genuine understanding. A tutor should create a safe environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I focus on understanding how each student learns, breaking difficult concepts into manageable steps, and encouraging them to think through the logic rather than simply memorising answers. Ultimately, I want students to become more independent, confident and motivated learners.
