What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping students understand something that they may initially find difficult or confusing and seeing their confidence grow as they improve. I particularly enjoy finding different ways to explain a concept depending on how a student learns best, rather than simply giving them the answer. It is rewarding to see a student eventually reach the point where they can solve problems independently and feel confident in their own abilities.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strengths are patience, communication and the ability to explain concepts clearly. I am comfortable breaking down difficult problems into smaller, manageable steps and adapting my explanation when a student is struggling with a particular concept. I also try to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as I believe this is an important part of learning.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do is help a student develop both understanding and confidence. A tutor should listen to the student, identify where they are struggling, and adapt their approach to suit their needs. Rather than simply providing answers, I believe a tutor should guide students through the reasoning behind a problem and encourage them to work things out independently. Building a student's confidence and helping them develop effective learning habits is just as important as improving their academic knowledge.
