What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students gain confidence in their abilities and seeing them improve. It is extremely rewarding when a student begins to understand a topic that they have been struggling in and they can then apply it to other areas.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my main strengths as a tutor are patience and communication. I am able to explain topics in different ways and change my approach to suit the needs of different learners. I also try to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students are able to ask questions and make mistakes.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do is to create an encouraging environment where a student feels comfortable and supported. About Hayley
Studying Early Childhood and Primary Education
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education at Monash, where I am learning about how children learn and strategies to support their development. This has given me a better understanding of student's learning needs and the importance of creating a supportive environment.
Experience Working With Children
I have experience working with children through both tutoring and coaching. I currently tutor a Year 6 in numeracy and literacy, helping them build confidence in their abilities. I also coach a junior softball team, which has strengthened my ability to communicate with children as well as create a positive environment.
