What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy tutoring because I genuinely like helping and supporting kids. I like being able to sit with them oneonone, figure out what they’re stuck on, and break it down in a way that actually makes sense. It feels good knowing I’m making things easier for them and giving them a bit more confidence. I just like being someone they feel comfortable with, someone who can guide them without any pressure. Helping kids feel supported and capable is honestly the best part of it.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths as a tutor are my patience and my ability to explain things in a really simple, clear way. Because of my primary teaching background, I’m used to breaking concepts down stepbystep so kids actually understand what’s going on, not just memorise it. I’m calm, I don’t rush them, and I’m good at figuring out where they’re getting stuck. I think kids feel comfortable with me, which makes it easier for them to ask questions and actually learn.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important things a tutor can do for a student are to support them, make them feel comfortable, and help them understand things in a way that makes sense to them. A tutor should be patient, listen to what the student is struggling with, and break things down stepbystep. It’s also important to build their confidence, not just teach the content. If a student feels safe to ask questions and isn’t scared of getting things wrong, they learn so much better.
