What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping students understand something they previously found difficult. It is really rewarding to see their confidence improve and watch them become more comfortable with a subject

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I think my main strengths are being patient, friendly and able to explain things in different ways. I try to break difficult concepts into simple steps and adjust my teaching depending on how each student learns.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I think the most important things are to make sure the student actually understands the content, encourage them to ask questions and help build their confidence. A good tutor should also create a comfortable environment where students are not afraid of making mistakes.

About Vimukthi

A Little About Me

Hi, I’m Senuwara! I’m currently studying Engineering and Computer Science at university of western australia and have a strong interest in maths and science. I have experience tutoring students across different year levels and enjoy helping them understand difficult concepts in a clear and simple way. I’m patient, approachable and always happy to explain something in different ways until it makes sense. I also understand that every student learns differently, so I try to adapt my lessons to suit each student’s needs and confidence level.

My Tutoring Approach

My goal is to make lessons comfortable, engaging and productive. I focus on building a strong understanding of the fundamentals before moving on to harder questions and exam-style problems. I encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes and work through problems step by step rather than simply memorising answers. I also like to help students improve their problem-solving skills, study habits and confidence so they can become more independent learners over time.
