What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The part I enjoy most is witnessing the 'lightbulb moment' when a student finally understands a concept they have been struggling with. Seeing their confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. I have had many students who have stayed with me for several years, often starting in Year 8 and continuing until they finish high school. With over 10 years of tutoring experience, Lutfi has worked with students across primary and secondary school, with a particular focus on Years 8–10 Mathematics. He believes these years are crucial for developing strong mathematical foundations that students can build on throughout high school. His approach focuses on identifying gaps in understanding, breaking down difficult concepts and helping students develop the confidence to tackle problems independently. He also has experience tutoring Year 11 and 12 Standard and Advanced Mathematics, as well as general Science.

Lutfi has recently submitted his PhD thesis in Forensic Science at the University of Technology Sydney, building on his extensive academic background in science. His years of university study have developed his analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities and understanding of complex concepts. His strong academic background, combined with his passion for Mathematics, allows him to explain challenging topics in a clear and accessible way, helping students develop a deeper understanding of the subject.
