The most enjoyable aspect of tutoring is seeing a student improve and fly through a subject/problem that they once struggled with.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One of my strengths is that I am able to adapt my teaching style according to my student, whether that be a struggling or above average student. It is so important that a tutor is, not only proficient in the subject, but can also understand the needs of their student. Not only is it crucial to fix any areas where a student is struggling, but also reinforcing and extending any areas which a student might enjoy or be proficient in.

The most important thing a tutor can for for a student is be a source of accountability. Education extends beyond the sessions you have at school or online. A tutor is meant to be someone which a student can go to for encouragement, motivation, and structure when things don't go according to plan. A tutor does not just teach content and help answer problems, but also supports their student in developing discipline, confidence and resilience.
