What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I love most about tutoring is seeing someone shift from feeling frustrated or overwhelmed by difficult topics to feeling capable and enthusiastic. This change which generally comes through time and effort is something I find extremely rewarding. I love helping people dismantle challenging topics into manageable pieces and seeing them grow across their learning journey.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have strong content knowledge of Math and English and am able to break down concepts into clear and simple language tailored to the learning styles of each student. Additionally, I am very patient, empathetic and create an encouraging environment where students don't feel judged for not understanding something on the first try. I am able to build strong mentor relationships where students feel comfortable asking questions and understand that making mistakes is part of the learning process.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think what's most important is guiding students through logical steps in order for them to arrive at solutions themselves rather than telling them exactly how to reach the answer. It's essential to make students self-sufficient so they can sit their exams and complete homework independently with confidence. I also believe its crucial for tutors to be patient and have their students understand that making mistakes is acceptable. If students are faced with too much pressure and criticism, they would have less motivation to study which makes it difficult to guide them through their learning.
