What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy supporting students as they work through something they initially find challenging. I find it rewarding to see their confidence grow as they begin to understand concepts and solve problems on their own. I also enjoy building a positive relationship with students and making learning feel less intimidating and more enjoyable.

I am patient, approachable, and adaptable. I understand that students learn at different paces, so I am happy to explain a concept in multiple ways until they feel comfortable with it. I am also organised and like to break problems down into clear, understandable steps, while encouraging students to ask questions without feeling embarrassed or pressured.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do is help a student understand rather than simply giving them the answer. A good tutor should create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions, identify the areas they are struggling with, and personalise teaching methods to suit each individual. Ultimately, I think tutoring should help students become more confident and independent learners.
