What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the moment when something clicks for a student, when a concept that felt confusing suddenly makes sense and they can solve the next problem on their own. Maths can feel intimidating, so helping a student go from "I can't do this" to "I get it" is really rewarding. I also enjoy finding different ways to explain the same idea, because every student thinks a little differently.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As an engineering student myself, I feel like when you can visualise the problem instead of just solving the numericals you really understand the topic. So my strength is I always try to make my students visualise and understand why the solution or equation/method was invented in first place. Then they can connect to it. And I think understanding students thought process is the main thing in tutoring. I always try to think what my students are thinking or if I was there at their position how would I approach the problem and what mistakes I would make. So yeah I think this are my strengths.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
In one word, studying for fun and to learn and not for grades only. I feel like when you tie the grade thing to learning, our default human brain always try to find shortcut to learn the thing. If a tutor can truly get their students into main world of imagination and not just to motivate them to get good grades, that's the main success.
