What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Having recently experienced the difficulties of the HSC myself, I find the most enjoyable aspect of tutoring to be helping students to realise their potential, extending their abilities in a given subject, and as a result, seeing them begin to really enjoy and engage with a subject that perhaps was once daunting. Catering to the individual needs and unique requirements of each student also presents an exciting challenge that I am determined to take on, as pushing students to be the best they can be is what both motivates me and makes the job enjoyable.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe not only my high academic achievements place me favourably as a tutor, but further, my dedication and enthusiasm to see students succeed ensures I am a good fit for the role. Additionally, I have excellent communication skills, and having only recently finished the HSC I feel I am better able to understand the feelings and needs of year 12 students. Also of importance is that I have extensive resources (eg. extra questions and workbooks) and study notes for mathematics and other subjects.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A successful tutor must:
Motivate a student to become enthusiastic and perform well in a subject.
Provide a style of teaching which best helps a student understand a subject.
Have a deep knowledge of the given subject.
Be a dependable and friendly support for a student.
