What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the ability to help a child out, who is struggling in understanding concepts of a topic, and being able to ensure that they fully understand and is capable of utilising that knowledge in further problems. In a general classroom, several aspects can contribute to a child not fully understanding the lesson being taught. A tutor can then come into the picture and personally assist the child in comprehending the issues faced, and guide them into solving the problems. The greatest satisfaction is then enjoyed by watching the child succeed.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor I believe is my passion in helping a child out. I will of course credit my knowledge and skills, but I'd also like to point out my ability to express myself. I have grown up in a very diverse environment amongst people of all types and backgrounds. Thus, I have met and been around their children. I have the capability of conversing easily and assisting people in understanding various concepts and topics. I can efficiently and honestly help a student who is trying to make the most out of their time with me, and ensure that they can exceed their expectations of themselves
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is to ensure that the child fully understands the lesson, and finds purpose in it. The student should not only study it because it is a requirement, but because they find it interesting, This I believe is a very crucial task for tutors. If a child is passionate about a subject, they will automatically study very hard for it. This can therefore lead to tremendous improvement. Also, support needs to be provided. The tutor needs to constantly ensure that the student does not lose hope in a subject they are particularly not excellent in.
