What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The thing I enjoy the most about tutoring is being able to witness the student's growth, both as a student and their confidence levels. The most rewarding feeling comes when the student looks to you for assistance, and the ability to work together to enhance their skills.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am patient with children, and, being a recent high school graduate, I can empathise with the students and can understand their stress points. I can relate to their worries, and I can use my experience both as a tutor and as a student to work with them. My strengths lie in English subjects, as I feel a deeper connection with English than I do with Maths. I enjoy being able to explore the English language and the way it manipulates itself and the readers to explore new meanings and concepts.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is listen. Many times, the student finds themselves struggling as a result of miscommunication with their teachers at school. I think that really listening and observing the student's work ethics, as well as paying close attention to their problem areas can help both the tutor and student to work together to improve their skills.
