What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I've always loved helping people with their struggles. When my advice or suggestions have made an improvement on their situations, I feel pleased. I like when I can use my knowledge to help others. I've always been passionate about being a tutor because I want to use my knowledge to make changes.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have good communication skills. I have tutored a Year 8 girl maths. During the process, I was able to communicate with her appropriately and keep her engaged. My explanation made sense to her and improved her maths results. I have also volunteered in a lot of places such as FRESH, art club and nursing home where strong communication skills are required. I am also fluent in both Mandarin and English. If someone whose first language is Mandarin and struggles to understand English, I am able to help them with understanding.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is not simply improving their results, but rather, teaching them how to study and keep them engaged. I think knowing how to study can benefit students as they will always be studying new things in their lives. Knowing how can help them learn new things more easily and quickly. By keeping them engaged, students will want to learn to improve their life skills.
