What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find the greatest enjoyment in tutoring to come from helping students overcome their problems. Seeing a student get better academically, grow in confidence and develop a passion for learning is very rewarding for me. While that is the most obvious source of enjoyment from tutoring, I've also found that it's helped me out personally. In teaching someone, I strengthen my knowledge of a topic which is a great benefit to my own confidence and understanding in my current academic work.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths as a tutor are my confidence, my enthusiasm and my perceptiveness. I always make sure to thoroughly review and prepare before a lesson so that I may confidently address my student's problems. I'm passionate about learning and academics and that reflects through my enthusiasm to pass what I know on to my students. Most importantly, I am perceptive to a student's goals and learning techniques. I'll always get to know a student and find out the best way to help them achieve.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor I can do for a student is help them become an independent learner. By helping them achieve their academic goals, a tutor can build a student's confidence, improve their attitude to education and inspire them. As a student myself, I can empathise with the many challenges high school presents and share my experiences in dealing with them. I am committed to getting every one of my students succeed and more importantly, learn to succeed on their own.
