What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy being able to pass knowledge to another person in an interactive manner, to be present not only as an educator but as an entertainer and a friend.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I feel I look at life in multiple perspectives and am willing to put my shoes into those of the students to approach a scenario of difficulty. I'm also positive and willing to push others for improvement while maintaining a connection as a mentor. I have a certificate IV in Education Support which gives me knowledge for teaching students with special needs as well as mainstream students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Being able to adapt on the fly to see the situation from the view of the student and having multiple methods of passing on the teaching material then simple repetition alone. Ability to elaborate on a topic for easier understanding should also be key. Most importantly being able to watch progress and handle a student's needs to understand the content as well as go further beyond.

Student was quick to give answers and more engaged if the equations was in the form of a game.

Inconsistent results as there is not a lot of time to double check, will implement a method in next few lessons after some concepts. 1 hour blocks are rather short to fix weaknesses.

Staying on task and effectively splitting equations into easier blocks instead of applying shaky mental maths
Was exceptionally attentive this lesson. Got more value out of our session then before due to focus.

Needs to be able to perform written methods independently. When faced with most tasks would still prefer to apply mental math.
