What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love being able to help the students confidence grow. I worked with a student whose go to approach was "I don't know how to do this" she would just give up straight away. To tutor her and watch her grow in confidence and believe in her abilities and therefore get better grades was one of the best feelings ever as a tutor.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe I have strengths in my ability to have a diverse range of approaches. I cater my tutoring to suit the individual- if there is something the student is not understanding at school we are able to work through the problem together in a way that the individual can understand. This approach is not the same for everyone and I believe my understanding of this diversity allows me to be a better tutor.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think one of the most important things a tutor can do is not just focus on changing the grades. Instead the tutor should also focus on growing the students confidence with what they are doing by encouraging them, giving them the tools to learn and helping them to dedicate the time. This will give the students an opportunity for lifelong learning which will put them on a better path than them constantly needing a tutor to be able to learn.
