What do I enjoy most about tutoring?
I enjoy helping people understand what they're learning. I know that feeling confused about what you're studying can be extremely irritating and hard. However, finally understanding what you're learning is extremely satisfying. I just want to help people feel satisfied and confident with what they're learning, as well as see the benefits of the education they're receiving.
My Strengths as Tutor
I like to teach in a creative, imaginative way that includes analogies that allow students to understand concepts in a different way. I'm also very easy going, which I hope will allow students to be more honest with what they're confused about and what they need help with. Subject wise, I'm strong in Biology, Chemistry, and can teach Math concisely and efficiently
Most important things I can do for a student
I believe that a tutor is there to support their students. To help them improve not only in the classroom and on tests, but to see the importance of what they study and how it relates to their lives and their future. I believe that a tutor is an extra support for a student, someone that they can rely on, other than their teachers and peers, for academic help. In this way, a tutor can play an extremely important role in helping a student succeed and do their best, as they can directly help individual students with their strengths and weaknesses.
