What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I like to share knowledge with others and watch them use it to succeed.
I used to have terrible tutors when I was growing up - I strive to ensure no one has to experience that! I love to see my students enjoy what they're doing. It's very rewarding to see results from the hard work put into them.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Patience and experience. Every student has their own way of learning/absorbing information. I find it's most successful when help is tailored to the learning abilities of the student, so they enjoy it, understand it, then excel in it. Confidence is key to success.
I love to teach - I am a professional horse riding instructor, piano teacher, and assistant scuba instructor. I have prior experience with those who have special needs or learning difficulties.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Patience, kindness and support. No one wants to endure an impatient/fierce/unreasonable tutor after a long day at school! I will teach independence, discipline and instill confidence and motivation.
Besides tailoring my teaching methods to maximize their learning, I hope to build a bond with my student so they start to enjoy their sessions with me. I want to earn their trust, and help them through troubles in their subjects.
