What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy working one on one with students because it gives me the opportunity to tailor my teaching to their individual needs. I enjoy seeing students become increasingly confident in their work and the sense of accomplishment that they feel when they master a concept they have struggled with.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am patient with my students and I enjoy the challenge of finding many different ways to approach a concept until they can work independently with confidence. I am organised and efficient. I prepare my lessons and keep my students focused on their task. I am also adaptable if my students need to focus on a topic that was not planned or if they would benefit from using different strategies. I use positive reinforcement to encourage my students to do their personal best and persevere through challenges.

Understand the students learning needs and goals to individualise learning experiences so that each student gets the most out of their tutoring experience. Help students recognise their strengths and support them in becoming independent learners.
