What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy watching a student grow and have those invaluable moments of realisation, when something you have taught has actually sunk in. It helps the student realise they are capable, and that they have matured both intellectual and personality wise.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have a great load of patience and I am willing to listen to the student carefully to figure out what they don't understand, so that I may be able to attempt different ways of explaining the idea.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

It is not in anyway helpful for a tutor to skim through all the content, which the student will most likely have already learnt in class, then give them worksheets and ask them to complete it by the next lesson. The student will only feel overwhelmed, keeping in mind that the student has already been at school studying for six hours each day, five days a week. As such, the most efficient and effective way for a tutor to support a student is to focus on specific problems or concerns about a subject, and target these areas in an engaging and intellectually beneficial way.
