What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have a passion for helping others, so what I most enjoy about tutoring is being able to help someone out when they don't understand something, and then seeing their joy when they finally understand something they've been struggling with.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor include patience and communication. When tutoring a student, they may struggle with understanding a concept so even if you may have explained it a number of times already, it is important to remain patient until they understand it. You may also try different ways of teaching the concept (i.e through examples, pictures, scenarios etc). I have excellent communication skills which I believe will benefit not only the student, but also the parent as it is important to communicate the students's progress regularly.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to use different methods of teaching to communicate the content, so the student can learn in a number of ways. Everyone learns differently, so when you meet a student for the first time, you should experiment with different teaching styles (explaining the content, using examples, scenarios, pictures etc). You then observe the student's learning progress and then continue teaching using the method that contributes the most to the student's learning.
