What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I have my heart for kids hence I really do enjoy being with them and it makes it all the more fulfilling to be able to teach them what I know and witness them excel with my guidance. Whenever a student was able to successfully grasp a certain concept, it gives me a sense of achievement and it makes me want to do more for them! Seeing their grades improve from a fail to pass assures me I have chosen the right job for myself. Kids have such simple minds and I find it such a joy to be able to form a bond with them not just as a tutor but also as a friend, or an older sister.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I am very patient with kids and I have good rapport with them! My youngest sister is 8 years apart from me- I used to aways play with her so i can say I do have experience with handling naughty kids! I am able to make the tutoring experience a fun one so the kids will look forward to tuition instead of dreading it. I have always had a knack for numbers hence I did well for Math in school and since it comes easy to me, I have the passion to teach what I know. I am able to use simple methods to explain a concept to the kids or use real life applications so the student can understand better.Most important things I can do for a student π
Being patient is definitely important as kids have very short attention spans. We should also always try to be available for the students outside of tuition hours. Learn to be stern when necessary- be a teacher or a friend when the right time calls for it.
