What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The satisfaction of actively helping an aspiring student achieve their aspirations i.e. reaching a goal ATAR or ensuring they meet their prerequisites in their subjects. There is a great sense of accomplishment in working hard to meet personal goals, and personally, I get that same feeling when I help someone else reach their own goals.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

In my opinion, I think I am patient and very understanding of the level/pace at which my students are learning and I can adapt my teaching approach accordingly.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think one of the most important things a tutor can bring to their student is support. Often students who hire a tutor usually have some pressures concerning the subject; either it is a subject they are struggling in and require more time to grasp key concepts or they are looking to excel. In both cases, it is important that the tutor not only teach the material, but serve as a barometer for progress; showing a struggling student the progress they are making builds confidence which results in greater interaction with the topic as well as less second-guessing their responses.
