What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy a more engaging teaching experience. It's not always easy to gauge the students' interest when teaching to a room full of students. In a one-one-one setting more progress can be achieved, which is very rewarding for me.

I'm a patient person and I've been told I'm pretty good at breaking down complex concepts into smaller easier to understand bits. I have over a decade of experience in teaching students and applying mathematical and science skills throughout my job.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Perspective. Often people tell me how they've never had to use the skills they learned in School or University. I find the opposite is true! I constantly come across real world examples of maths and science concepts being applied in new ways. Being able to "bring everything together", to connect knowledge with application is important for any teacher.
