What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What motivates me to be a tutor is the children's purity. I enjoy teaching students with all my knowledge and as much as my effort. I have a sense of accomplishment when my students learned something from me. Also, during tutoring, communication is really important which allows me to access to students' ideas and multiple ways of thinking the same question and concept. This always helps me improve myself to think questions from better aspects. As I'm studying a Bachelor of Arts degree, I'm trying to connect humanities with science to find a better way of learning and teaching science subjects.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm really patient and always paying attention to transpositional consideration. I always get myself ready for the class and try my best to answer students' questions. If sometimes I have something not sure, I'll figure it out and tell my students afterward. I encourage students to ask questions and I would ask them instead to check their understandings. For me, I don't think the tutoring process should be serious, instead, I'd like to build a relaxing environment. I do think proper praise and encouragement is really important for a student, which could motivate students' desire for learning.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

First of all, transpositional thinking is really important. For students, they're the first time to learn some concepts while tutors have been dealing with the same concepts for at least several years. So a tutor must think from a student's perspective to find a better way to teach students. Secondly, a tutor should be able to check students' understanding. For some students who are not inclined to ask questions, tutors should ask some questions forwardly. Thirdly, one of the most important things of teaching is teaching methods, which is beneficial to a student's following studies.
