What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love seeing students gain a full understanding of the subject matter at their own pace. This is very rewarding for me and makes the effort worthwhile. Tutoring is a learning experience for me as a tutor as I encounter students who use different learning styles and have to find ways to adapt to each individuals style in order to get maximum improvement. I also enjoy forming a bond with the students to the point where we can understand each other well, making the teaching-learning process much easier.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am able to adapt to different learning styles and paces of each student and try my best to give them a well rounded understanding of the content. As such, I treat each student as an individual and help them in ways that work best for them. I give practical and relevant advice regarding the subject matter and will always try to find a new way to make students understand content. I am able to form a good relationship with the student and motivate them to improve.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Tutors should try their best to inculcate a certain level of intrinsic motivation in their students, rather than having students work just because the teacher or tutor says so. This increases the chances of consistent work and improvement while also increasing the level of enjoyment while working. It is also important to help them gain an understanding of the subject rather than simply prepare them for exams. Monitoring progress and making the student aware of their improvement or lack of improvement is important, and goals should be set based on their progress upon discussion with the students themselves.
